Chorley Nissan Sunday League IN the Mitre Trophy ties played, St Joseph's Athletic won 2-1 at Railway FC, with goals from Conway and Bradley. Jolly replied for Railway.
A goal each from Nichols and Murphy saw White Bull Wanderers progress at the expense of Rose and Crown by two goals to one.
In the Guardian Shield Premier division, Leo's moved back into pole position with a 2-1 win at Roebuck. Double scored for Roebuck, but Leo's hitmen Stewart and Walker secured the win.
Duke of York won 5-1 at Harpers Villa helped by a Curwen hat-trick.
In division one, Swindells also scored a hat-trick as Edge United beat Euxton Mills 6-4.
In the same division, two goals from Booth and one from Henry saw Seven Stars beat Red Herring B 3-0, while Farmers Arms beat bottom club Duke of York 7-1.
In division two Frazier found the net four times to help Adlington Ceramics beat Halfway House 5-1. Withnell United won 3-2 at Talbot Arms and Adlington Nomads ran eight in against Coppull St Oswalds, who only replied once.
