The first day of spring was on March the first,
And already the bulbs are fit to burst.
The crocus and daffs are swaying about,
But don't be in a hurry to cast your clout.
At the moment it is sunny and mild,
But don't be fooled it can turn pretty wild.
The weather it changes from day to day,
I'd keep your woolies handy till at least the first of May. By Mrs E Atkinson
