Can we do it? Can we really do it?

Same question last year; then, we blew it.

Relegation was a hard pill to swallow,

But it is our duty to forever follow.

This season we stumbled at the beginning,

Then by Christmas, 20,000 were singing.

Chants that reach far across the moors,

Whenever one or our super heroes scores.

It's unbelievable the emotions we go through,

And the amount of fingernails we chew.

Watching a lead slip drives us insane,

But then again, it's only a game.

With only a handful of matches left to play,

Can we go up and more importantly stay?

Because surely, that's where we should be,

is anyone else worried, or is it just me? By D P Crompton
