YOUNGSTERS at a Farnworth school have dedicated their latest show called "Life" to the memory of a former pupil who was killed by meningitis.
Harper Green pupils will devote their dance performances to "perfect son" Richard Armstrong who died from meningoccal septicaemia less than a year after leaving the school.
Some of the profits from the show will be donated to the Meningitis Trust in memory of trainee builder Richard, whose death was reported in the BEN earlier this month, aged just 16.
Perfect
The Moses Gate youngster, who was described by his dad as a "perfect son", died the day after leaving work early because he felt ill.
The dynamic dance show opens tonight and focuses on one woman's story of her own life from childhood to adulthood. It is told through monologue and dance sequences, choreographed by students with help from staff.
Tickets are £1 from Mrs Furnell for performances tonight and tomorrow at 7pm in the drama theatre.
