DISABLED and elderly people in the North West can now obtain a new, improved edition of the acclaimed Disability Directory. The directory contains 200 pages of information including Orange Badge parking locations, editorials from local and national disability-related charities and details of helplines for people with special needs. The directory also has a comprehensive A-Z listing of businesses throughout the region who have a specialised product, service or special facilities for disabled people.

"The concept behind the Directory is to provide an Encyclopaedic Handbook to assist in everyday life," explained Chris Nash, spokesman for the Disability Directory. "The North West Disability Directory is printed in a larger-than-average typeface, making it far easier to read than conventional directories, and is already used by many organisations throughout the North West."
