POLICE are searching for a depressed Farnworth mother who has vanished with her four children.
Elaine Booth, a 36-year-old divorcee, of Glenbrook Gardens, has not been seen for 13 days.
Officers looking for the missing mum believe she may have taken her children to live in the Blackpool area.
Sgt Steve Eastwood of Farnworth Police said there is no indication that she - or her children - have come to any harm but police need to establish that she is safe and well.
Mrs Booth, who has been living with her ex-husband, left her home at 5.30am on March 12 with her children Katy, aged 11, Richard, nine, and three-year-old twins Tia and Rachel.
She has no known family and friends and has not been seen since she left home.
Police have released a description and photograph of the missing woman. She is white, 5ft 7ins tall, brown eyes with auburn shoulder length hair.
Sgt Eastwood is appealing for the missing mum or anyone who knows her whereabouts to contact the police at Farnworth on 0161 856 5829. Missing: Elaine Booth
