AS part of Lancashire's plan to establish a county choir, Albany sent along 15 of their Year 7 and 8 choir members to attend a day's rehearsal at Chorley Town Hall.
Having learnt the repertoire beforehand, pupils were taken through warm-up techniques, trained in choral techniques and taught more material.
In total there were more than 300 pupils from around the county and 'the sound was magnificent!'
The intention is to have further rehearsals on Saturdays, followed by a
concert on May 8 at King George's Hall, accompanied by the Lancashire
Student Band.
