ALBANY was pleased to receive a cheque from Create towards the cost of energy efficiency measures recently installed at the school.
Create manages the School Energy Programme which is an Energy Saving Trust and British Gas initiative.
Pictured is Chorley MP Lindsay Hoyle presenting the cheque to Year 7 pupils.
The school is one of only 250 schools in the UK to benefit from the School Energy programme this year.
Initiatives taken by the school include lightsavers in the staff room, gym, sportshall and main hall and the thermostatic radiator valves being
fitted in the Technology Suite and all south-facing rooms.
