FARMERS Arms cruised through to the third round of the Chorley Nissan Sunday Soccer League's Firwood Trophy at the weekend.
They beat Euxton Mills 8-2 at home in a second round tie, their goals coming from M Jackson (2), Brookes (2), Maitland (2) Caunce and Ashcroft.
Mills' marksmen were A Ashcroft and A Dilworth.
In the premier division, Railway won 3-1 at Roebuck, thanks to goals from W Dixon (2) and M White. J Pearson scored for Roebuck.
Seven Stars won 6-3 at Duke of York in division one, while in division two, there were wins for Golden Lion, 9-2 at Coppull St Oswalds and Talbot Arms, 7-3 at home to Halfway House.
