Under 10s: Folly Lane 10 Chorley Panthers 40
AN impressive display from the visitors who dominated throughout the match. Good performances from try scorers Tom Belshaw, Michael Addison and Adam Donnellan whose efforts contributed to this win.
Liam Molyneux was Most Improved Player and Top Tackler was Robert Campbell. Man of the Match with a hat-trick of tries was Anthony McMullen.
Under 9s: Panthers 64 Bury Lions 34
DESPITE the wind and rain at Adlington on Sunday morning, both teams played some fine rugby and it was the Panthers strength and pace that enabled them to run out easy winners.
Solid performances from Alex Slater and Johnathan Henderson who scored his first try for the club. Man of the Match was the "jinking, side-stepping" Jamie Ellis.
Under 8s: Westhoughton Lions 16 Panthers 46
THE Panthers played in front of a crowd just short of 200 in this curtain raiser at Hilton Park prior to the Leigh Centurions v Featherstone Rovers match.
The Lions repeatedly used their big players to try and break through and score but the Chorley defence stood firm and responded with some scintillating rugby league.
No mention can be made of individual players because the whole team was fantastic and a credit to the town.
Under 7s: Orrell St James 28 Panthers 20
THE Chorley youngsters were unlucky, having three tries disallowed.
David Henderson and Elliot Hindle starred for Chorley and Callum Alderton scored his first try for the club.
Ryan Addison had a fine debut game with some solid defence and Carl Bridge went over for four tries.
