BOLTON Moat House has been awarded the prestigious Investors in People award for the third time.
The four-star hotel says its local market share has grown by four per cent since introducing Investors to the business - and staff morale is "extremely high."
The hotel's Rainbow initiative involves continuous customer care training for its 121 full and part-time staff.
The nationally-applauded development programme features seven customer values from initial greeting to final farewell and relationship-building thereafter.
The business is committed to developing its own people from within and encourages at least 30 per cent of its staff at a time to participate in NVQ development programmes. The hotel also operates the Moat House management development initiative and delivers more than 100 internal training programmes.
General Manager Greg Shanker said: "Investors in People is a way of life at the Bolton Moat House.
"We involve our staff totally in the business.
"That way everybody knows where they are coming from and we all pull in the right direction."
Regional Personnel and Training Manager Gordon Kermode said: "The Investors in People process makes good business sense and we ensure that the Investors standards are part of everything we do and are integrated into all aspects of our culture."
