MANCHESTER Airport has launched a £300,000 regional and national communications campaign to re-name its terminals to T1, T2 and T3 from March 28.
T1 International becomes Terminal 1, T2 remains Terminal 2 and T1 British Airways and Domestic is to be known as T3 - Terminal 3 British Airways and Domestic.
The campaign - "Flying from Manchester is as easy as one, two, three" - includes the distribution of special information packs and timetables to business passengers, frequent flyers and travel agents.
More than 570 road and building signs will have different colour schemes for the different terminals - T1-green, T2-magenta (pink) and T3-violet (purple).
Airport Chief Executive Geoff Muirhead said: "It is essential that our 17.5 million passengers know about the re-naming of the terminals to avoid any confusion when flying from Manchester."
