THE Intercare Group has formed its third international manufacturing company.
Intercare Korea Corporation, based in a new factory in Chinchon, just south of Seoul, produces a range of competitively-priced scooters for the Group's Mobility Division.
The group, which also has a pharmaceutical distribution division, has factories and offices in Harrogate (HQ), Bedford, Bolton, Glasgow, Holland, Germany and Canada.
Preliminary results for the year ended December 31, 1998, showed profits before tax up 92pc to £3.1 million from £1.6 million.
Turnover was up 30pc from £56.3 million to £73.6 million.
