BOLTON Museum, Art Gallery and Aquarium have organised a whole range of events and activities based around our current exhibitions, for children and family groups during the Easter holidays.
From Monday, March 29 to Saturday, April 10 we are taking part in a 'Family Friendly Fortnight', activities include:
Snakes Alive!
Snakes handling sessions on Monday March 29; Tuesday March 30 and April 6; Thursday April 1 and 8; Friday April 9 - 11am to 12 noon and 2pm to 3pm.
Beauty and the Beast (exhibition runs until April 24)
Explore the exotic world of animal life and costume through shape, colour and form.
Face Painting - Tuesday, March 30 and April 6; Thursday April 1 and 8, (cost £1).
The Unexplained: Photographs of the Paranormal (exhibition runs until April 24)
Strange Happenings - to accompany The Unexplained exhibition. Two story telling workshops with Bolton Central Children's Library for eight to 12 year olds (booking essential tel 01204 522311 ext 2191). Thursday April 1 and 8, 10.30am to 11.30am.
A Secret Garden: The Hidden World of Mosses and Liverworts (exhibition March 20 to June 5).
