Easter is a time for new beginnings. Easter is also a time to remember Jesus.
When Jesus was dying on the cross everybody lost their hope of living, because when he was alive they had left their homes and families to follow him, now he was dead.
But three days after his death he rose again and brought hope back to his followers.
Easter is a time for us to hope too, to dream new dreams for the millennium. I have a dream that one day the world will be a crime free zone, cigarettes made illegal and the hole in the ozone layer mended, and animals safe from extinction wherever they go.
