PILKINGTON RECS. U7s 36 CHORLEY PANTHERS 16
A BRAVE Chorley side eventually succumbed to a bigger and stronger Pilks outfit. Callum Alderton, Elliot Hindle, Taylor Bristow and David Henderson all ran well but were denied tries by a strong Pilks defence. Man of the match Carl Bridge scored all four Panthers tries following good passing moves from Elliot Hindle and Ryan Addison.
PANTHERS U8s 18 HINDLEY 44
THE Panthers performed well against a disciplined Hindley team. Alex Trumper starred for the home team with two tries and a further try came from Craig Lucas on his debut. Man of the match was Paul Jones with most improved player going to Ryan Acaster.
PANTHERS U9s 52 CROSSFIELDS 34
SOME excellent open rugby from Chorley proved to be too much for the Crossfields side. Fine performances from Phillip Catterall, Philip Baines and Kieran McCullough gave Chorley a comfortable win.
PANTHERS U10s 6 OLDHAM ST ANNES 34
A REAL off day for Chorley with too many handling errors and missed tackles. Top tackler was Michael Addison with fine performances from Danny Dean and Sean Andersen. Most improved player went to Alan Hollingmode, playing in only his second match. Man of the match went to Graham Davies who distributed the ball well. Thomas Hindle and try scorer Anthony McMullen showed up well in attack.
