VISITORS to Turton Tower this weekend will be able to look back at the drama of sixteenth century Lancashire life with a series of role plays.
Held in the Dininge Chamber on Easter Sunday at 2.30 and 3.30 pm, visitors can watch as Tudor banqueting preparations for Squire William Orrell are being made by his steward, Alexander Ireland.
On Easter Monday, the action continues in the meeting house where visitors can watch Agnes Ireland, the housekeeper at Turton Tower pouring over the Squire's accounts.
Other events at Turton Hall over Easter include a straw and corn exhibition and a contemporary wood collection.
