We were in Section C as I recall (there was no Section D!!), and it has been my one regret that I never got a photograph of those 11 'stalwarts', who, in spite of not very favourable results, always turned up on match days right up to the start of the war. We last played on several pitches, one being behind the Blundell Arms pub on Chorley Old Road. Some names I recall, Alex Southworth, Maurice Thompson, Jim Ashmore (who could have played in better company), Davies and Rearden (I forget the Christian names).
I should be glad to hear from anyone interested.
