WHY oh why, do we have to fork out £20 to £50 to get into a pub on New Year's Eve? So it's the Millennium, so what?
I live in Horwich which has a number of pubs. I know one pub which is charging £40 and another £80 for that evening.
I like to have a bit of a pub crawl, and finish off at my local, but if my local charge me that amount for that evening I would never go into that pub again.
I go out most nights and spend around about £10 per night in my local. But to charge people to go in is what I call money grabbing.. And you bet the folks who are out on New Year's Eve only go out that once every year.
Money, money, money! No charge please.
