A KNIFEMAN threatened to stab a customer who attempted to tackle him during a robbery at a Farnworth video store.
The thug pointed the knife at the customer, and warned him he would use it, if he attempted to stop him.
A reward under the Greater Manchester Police Crimestoppers scheme is now on offer for information leading to his arrest.
The thief, who was carrying a five-inch knife with a red handle entered Global Video, Brackley Street, Farnworth, at 9.35pm on Monday, July 12.
Detectives say that while the assistant was dealing with another customer the thug grabbed a quantity of cash from the till.
He threatened a customer with the knife when he attempted to stop him. The thug fled from the shop with £160.
Police have released a description of the thief who is white, aged about 30, 5ft 11ins tall with black wavy hair, medium build and clean shaven. He was wearing a turquoise coloured t-shirt with a multi coloured pattern on the shoulders, dark trousers and white trainers.
