My scene was cut

IN a recent issue of the BEN there was a reply about the film A Kind of Loving but you failed to mention Radcliffe. Some scenes were filmed in Coronation Park, Sailor Brows and Radcliffe New Road. I was, at that time, living just off Radcliffe New Road. My son, who is now 39, was in a pram and I was going to the Post Office. Someone came to me and asked me to walk down the road, when asked. Unfortunately the scene was cut and I got paid the sum of five shillings and six pence. June Ritchie was lovely, she even commented on my son's long curly eyelashes and said she would have liked them.
