DETECTIVES probing the murder of schoolgirl Louise Sellars have issued questionnaires to 500 homes in Billinge.
The letters were sent to homes within half a mile of where the body of the 15-year-old schoolgirl was found four years ago this week.
Louise, of Chisacre Drive, Appley Bridge, was found strangled in August 1995, a day after she was reported missing from home.
Her body was discovered by a man walking his dog near a wooded copse near Billinge Hospital. She was fully clothed and had not been sexually assaulted.
A mobile police unit will be parked outside the Bispham pub in Billinge this weekend.
