Chorley Panthers under 11s - 20 Leyland Warriors under 11s - 14 CHORLEY Panthers under 11s enjoyed an excellent opening season derby game against Leyland Warriors under 11s.
Though the two sides were evenly matched, Chorley opened the scoring with a length of the field solo try from Adam Donnellan, closely followed by two trys from Michael Addison and a try from the scrum by by Sean Andersen.
Leyland came back strongly in the second half and put pressure on the Chorley defence but time ran out and left Chorley with a win.
Danny Dean's strong defending earned him the man of the match award. Graham Davies topped the tackle count for the panthers.
