Chorley U14 girls 4 Blackpool U14 girls 4 CHORLEY'S newly formed under-14s girls team made a promising start.
The visitors from Blackpool went 2-0 up against the run of play, but Chorley were delighted to pull a goal back before half time with a good shot from Vicky Price.
During the second half Chorley increased the pressure and were rewarded with two quick goals, firstly by Kim Swarbrick and then a second for Vicky Price. Halfway through the second half Chorley added another after some skilful passing football down the right and a shot from Gemma Young.
The Blackpool, players dug in to score two goals in the last six minutes. Coach Tract Kenyon was very pleased with the all round team performance at the start of the season.
