BOLTON Little Theatre present a double comedy bill of The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard and Black Comedy by Peter Shaffer from September 18 to 25.
The double bill, described as "an evening of undiluted hilarity" was recently a sell-out in the West End where double bills are a rarity.
Although very different, both productions mischievously play with theatrical convention. Apparently the results are hilarious.
The Real Inspector Hound, directed by John Cunningham, re-invents the country house whodunnit. Two theatre critics find themselves involved in the on stage mystery
Andrew Close directs Black Comedy. A get-rich-quick scheme is thwarted when the characters are plunged into darkness.
Tickets are already selling fast. You may book at the Albert Halls Booking office 01204 364333 or the theatre box office - 01204 524469. From September 13 tickets are available from the Hanover Street theatre between 6 and 8 pm.
