THE famous twin towers of Wembley have got a new home - in the front garden of a house in Radcliffe.
A replica of the giant towers was built right outside the semi-detached home of the Turrell family in Stand Rise, Outwood, after dad won a national competition.
And homeowner Phil, 30, wife Gill, and their two children Sophie, eight, and Matthew, five, got an amazing surprise.
Former Manchester United star and Scotland international Denis Law turned up with the world soccer skills champion, Rob Walters. The whole street joined in a soccer-themed street party as the front and back gardens of the small house were transformed into mini-football pitches.
The family won the extra-special house party in a national competition organised by McCain Foods to promote a range of oven chips.
Mr Turrell, who works at local firm Halsteads floor covering factory, was pulled out of the hat after he named the most skilful "chippers" in football.
He entered the competition without telling wife Gill and the party was a complete surprise for the rest of the family, who are all Manchester United fans.
Phil said: "I couldn't believe it when I found out I had won. It took such a long time to sink in, especially when Denis Law turned up.
"He seemed to really enjoy it and played football with the kids."
Daughter Sophie, who plays in a junior team for Bury Girls Football Club, even put a penalty past Rob Walters.
And Phil said the soccer skills champion set an unofficial world record in his front garden for heading the ball 528 times in three minutes.
