ST Matthew's School's class of 1940 held their 10th reunion at Smithills and Heaton Conservative Club. Around 60 former pupils - including Nat Lofthouse - attended the evening.
The ex-Wanderers footballer provided a ball signed by current Bolton Wanderers players, which was raffled off, raising £117 for the Wheels for Wheels campaign.
The appeal has raised £1,048 so far towards providing specially converted transport for eleven-year-old Thomas Partington who suffers from Muscular Dystrophy.
