THE powers that be in all denominations of churches should take a look at the first class plan that is currently reaching a climax at Chorley Old Road Methodist Church in Bolton.
There, a year of fund raising has resulted in £45,000 to transform the church hall into a multi-purpose community facility.
It combines the best of the old and new, both in architecture and values. It shows what people-power can achieve, and just where any Church should really be in the Millennium - right in the heart of the community.
