MEMORIES of last season's FA Cup exploits against England manager Kevin Keegan's Fulham will be revived tomorrow as Leigh RMI entertain Blyth Spartans at Hilton Park.
It is the second Preliminary Round and there are still two further rounds before the Nationwide clubs are involved.
At that stage last season RMI earned a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage before losing 2-0 in the replay at Hilton Park before the live Sky cameras.
"We still have a lot of players here who were involved in both matches and they have been talking about it all week. It was a good time for everyone and we would like another taste, so there should be no need for any motivation speeches," said manager Steve Waywell, who his hoping that Ian Monk and Brian Butler will return after injury.
Definitely out are Dave Ridings, hamstring, and Eddie Turkington, who has started a suspension and has returned to Altrincham.
Suspension
Striker Tony Black will have to perm any one from three of potential partners; Neil Matthews, Brian Ross or Liam Carr with Peter Smyth and Mick Wallace continuing in midfield.
"Although we beat Blyth 1-0 up in the North East on the opening day of the season it will count for nothing tomorrow," added Waywell. The winners have a home tie against Hyde United or Crook Town.
