WANDERERS have failed to persuade referee Paul Robinson to reprieve Mike Whitlow.
The Hull referee has looked at the video of the second half incident at Charlton which led to the Bolton captain being sent off for a second bookable offence. But he hasn't had a change of heart.
"The ref is not changing his decision," Colin Todd confirmed. "He has gone with his original decision and I think he is wrong."
Whitlow will be suspended for next Saturday's home game against Nottingham Forest. Andy Todd, who was also sent off in the 2-1 Charlton defeat, also misses the Forest fixture plus the away games at Swindon and Wolves.
