A LONDON company is looking for photographs of a turn-of-the-century Bolton mill.
Clothing firm, Burberry, has pleaded for any pictures or memorabilia relating to Pandora Mill, at Long Causeway, Farnworth, which dates back to the early 1900s.
It relocated to the Lorne Street Mills site in the 1960s leaving the company keen to find pictures of the old mill to add to its archives.
Linda Stimpson, a spokesperson for the company, said: "We would be delighted to receive any photos of the factory both internal and external, including pictures of people wearing Burberry clothing.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who either worked for the company or has a member of their family who was employed in the factory."
Contact Linda Stimpson on 0181 328 4465.
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
