IN answer to A Chattin's letter regarding pensioners, I agree with every word. We are forgotten by every Government.
The Christmas bonus has stayed at £10 for years, yet false asylum seekers flood our shores, knowing they will receive money, housing etc free.
Also unmarried mothers can also receive these benefits. Just visit the DSS and hear them talking about what they claim for. It's an eye opener. Some live with their boyfriends and do cash-in-hand jobs.
This Government encourages these people, yet we are forgotten.
