I WRITE after reading about Bolton College's "blunder" on September 14 and 15.

There are a few points I would like to point out.

First: The college has been claiming money for students they did not have for around four years. Those responsible at the college should be sacked instantly. It is beyond my imagination that they can get away with this.

Second: There are going to be compulsory redundancies of 20 support officers and 20 lecturers. How can they deliver good and satisfactory education to the students when there is nobody to teach?

Twenty support staff at £10,500 equals £210,000, savings the college is hoping to make this year.
