VIRGIN Rail and First North Western, the main train companies serving Bolton, have vowed to improve their services.
The words "We'll believe it when we see it," spring to mind.
At least by admitting there are problems, the companies are on the right track. But they need to find remedies immediately. Their passengers have suffered for long enough already.
