A REWARD is being offered for the safe return of a stolen rare motorbike.
Only about 100 of the German MZ TS 150 Pathfinder machines were ever made worldwide.
And Peter Killan's prized possession was stolen from a garage near his Breightmet home.
Restored
Now he is appealing for help to return the red and white bike to him.
He said: "It's such a rare bike. I restored it from a real run down condition when I bought it four years ago. It's my pride and joy and to me it's priceless."
The off-road bike is worth about £1,000 and Mr Killan, of Bury New Road, fears youths could wreck the machine driving it on fields and tracks.
The theft was discovered on Tuesday morning at the concrete garage at the back of his home at the junction of Bury New Road and Ainsworth Hall Lane.
Anyone with information can call Bolton 902385 and ask for Christine Killan or call police on 0161 872 5050.
