LEGAL eagles from a Croston college have won through to the northern finals of a national law competition.
A team of 13 from Bishop Rawstorne College won through to the northern regional final of the National Magistrates' Court mock trial competition.
The school beat off competition from three other local high schools to reach the next round, which takes place in Kendal next month.
The team took part in two trials and had to take on the roles of magistrates, witnesses, clerk to the court and the press.
South Ribble magistrate Eric Whittle, one of the competition judges, said: "Coming in to a full court and performing as they did can be a very intimidating experience.
"They did it exceptionally well. I am full of admiration for all the young people who took part, but on the day Bishop Rawstorne were the best."
