BOLTON'S good natured fans were praised by the Metropolitan police.
Of the thousands of supporters who flooded into the Wembley Stadium, there were only 23 arrests.
And last night, a Met spokesman said: "We have had very few calls resulting from the match. It seems generally to have been a good natured affair."
Of those arrested, eight were for ticket touting offences, and only four Bolton fans were arrested for drunk and disorderly offences. Ten Aston Villa supporters were arrested - six for drink related offences, three for threatening behaviour and one for possession of alcohol,
One other person was hauled in - this time a neutral fan for a theft.
