nREGARDING the story in the BEN (March 14) about children today being impossible to control. Well, I agree with Mr Davis. I would love to smack my teenager for his lip, because, if I had spoken to my parents like these kids do, I would have got a smack. That's why kids can't behave, because they get away with everything.
I am not saying all kids are bad, because they are not, and it's not fair to criticise them all of the time. There are parents who do care, and sort their kids out other ways. I sort my son out if he misbehaves, but we all have heard lately about troubled kids. Why not open more youth clubs, discos etc, so they don't get bored -- because that's all it boils down to, as there is nowhere for them to go.
So, come on, stop picking on these kids and sort them something out.
