I WOULD like to express my deepest thanks to the police for their wonderful effort in finding my husband, who had gone missing on Tuesday evening.
Their very prompt action in arranging a search team and calling in a helicopter to help did, without a doubt, save my husband's life. He had had a slight stroke and was unable to help himself so could have lain there all night if he hadn't been spotted by the helicopter's thermal image camera. An ambulance was called and Ken is recovering in Bolton Hospital.
I, and our family, thank them again for their quick response and supportive action.
