JUNE Lee is hoping to turn back the clock to the good old days of the Leigh Music Hall and to the more recent good old days of the 70s Summer Showtime.
On Tuesday (April 11) she will do just that.
St Joseph's Players are hosting Showtime 2000 -- a cornucopia of entertainment, old and new, with June at the helm.
The show, which runs until Friday (April 14) will feature songs from the shows, a look back to favourites from the Music Hall, plus monologues, comedy sketches and dazzling dance.
"Through the 70s we performed a successful series of Summer Spectaculars," said June.
"This time our show will be an informal gathering with a cheese and wine interval, giving our patrons time for a chat."
From May 16-20 St Joseph's will be back to more traditional fayre with their Leigh Borough centenary production of James Hilton's Random Harvest, celebrating the 100th birthday of the town's most famous writer.
Tickets for both shows will soon be available at Boardman's on Bradshawgate, Leigh.
