The 16 section champions of 1999 compete in this tournament, with A-D in Group One, E-H in Group Two, I-L in Group Three, and - in Group Four. The game consists of one innings each of 40 good balls.

The league season commences on Monday and all matches in April must commence by 6.45pm.

Teams in A Section will have two open dates, due to the late withdrawal from the league by Bromley Cross A due to a shortage of players.

Likewise in D Section, Burlow Ladies have withdrawn from the league, who were formerly known as Adlington Holts.

Bradford Ladies and Ladies Taverners have had to change ground to Bishop Bridgeman School, Rupert Street, Bolton, due to Heywood Park being unavailable for rounders this season.

Some teams are still searching for players, none more so than Hatfield B in L Section. Several players are required including the specialist position of 'backstop'. Any person(s) interested, please contact Mrs M Atkinson on 01204 592263. Hatfield B play their home matches on Astley Bridge Park.
