IN reply to the letter dated March 29 (School Toilets). I am a cleaner at Hayward school and the toilets are also locked there by the cleaners.
The reason is that some of the pupils think that toilets are for smashing bottles, throwing cans down toilets, flooding them and generally vandalising them. So they cannot be trusted, which spoils it for the other pupils who really want to use them.
This also happens in quite a lot of the secondary schools as all the cleaners work for the same company. So come on, spare a thought for us who have to clean all this mess up every day. From a fed-up Mrs Mop.
