ONE of Bolton's most successful music sessions makes a return on Saturday.
The Buskers' Ball will be opening up at Mighty Muldoons on Bradshawgate (the revamped) Durty Nelly's) between 3pm and 6pm.
The venue has had a major refit and now has improved audience seating, and organisers say they are looking forward to the new session.
The special guest on the opening session will be Nick Bold, a local singer/songwriter who has just turned pro.
'We hope to make this a prestigious place to play again, and the emphasis will be much more on original material. Acoustic music has really started to take off, what with David Gray topping the charts, and we hope to be able to attract a lot of the best singer/songwriters from around Manchester," said a spokesman.
The Buskers' Ball has also got a regular weekly session starting at Bury Met on September 7th (from 8pm).
All singers and musicians are welcome at both sessions and admission is free.
