I SHOULD like to be able to thank the young man who kindly brought our son home recently, after he had an accident on his bicycle near Rivington Pike one Tuesday afternoon when he was out with a friend.
All we know about our 'Good Samaritan' is that he is called Rob and drives a blue car.
Our son Ian, broke both wrists and bruised himself badly.
Rob used his mobile phone to contact our house, and then dismantled Ian's bike and brought it and our son safely home.
As we were both out, Ian's sister was then able to phone dad at work, but no one thought to ask Rob for his phone number.
Therefore can the BEN pass on our sincere thanks in the hope that Rob will read this?
Ian is now making a full recovery, but would have suffered a great deal more pain had it not been for Rob's swift and kind action.
