A BOLTON guide group had a hectic week-long trip to Switzerland.
The party of 28 guides and nine leaders travelled from Bank Top and Halliwell to the small Swiss village of Wilderswill, near Interlaken.
Along the way they took in the beautiful scenery of France as they relaxed in their luxury coach.
And during their stay the group took part in a number of activities which included climbing 900 steps to see the Blue Ice Caves and waterfalls. They also travelled by train and chairlifts to the top of some of the country's mountains and visited the International Guide Centre at Adelboden.
But they were not about to ignore the lads, so they also took a look around the International Scout Centre.
Val Singleton, one of the leaders, said: "The group really enjoyed themselves and saw some wonderful sights."
