ON Wednesday morning, August 9, while on a shopping trip to Bolton, I lost my cheque book.
We retraced our route back to our car, but to no avail. It had not been handed in at any of the shops we had visited.
We decided to call into the HSBC Bank on Bradshawgate to have the cheque book cancelled, and to our relief found that it had been handed in to the staff there.
Please may I thank the person concerned for returning the cheque book to the bank.
Honesty and integrity evidently is alive and well among some members of the public, and this enabled us to enjoy the day out in Bolton.
Thank you very much, whoever your are.
