ENERGY drink firm Nutrisport has made two appointments.
The Wigan company, managed by Scott Adams, has taken on board Sharon Evans, from Westhoughton, as a National Sales Executive and Kevin Hayes, from Hindley Green, as Site Manager.
Ms Evans formerly spent 10 years as manager of Bolton Health Studio while Mr Hayes joins after completing a BTech in Business Studies at Wigan College five years ago.
He will be looking after the firm's new 1,500 square feet factory and responsible for key accounts and export sales.
Nutrisport was founded by Mr Adams, 38, a former nutrional adviser to professional football and rugby teams such as Aston Villa, Oldham Athletic, Wigan Warriors, Bradford Bulls and Warrington.
He started the firm 11 years ago, making and selling protein and energy drinks from home and recently unveiled an £800,000 net profit on a turnover of £2 million.
Mr Adams said: "The UK and European independent trade is still a growth area. We will grow by acquisition or by being acquired by a company with greater marketing and distribution in Europe."
