A BOLTON schoolboy was threatened with a screwdriver during a terrifying daylight robbery.
The youngster was set upon as he walked along Manchester Road, Bolton, at 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
As he strolled along the busy road he was stopped by a man who then demanded he hand over property, wielding a screwdriver at the boy.
The thief escaped with a pair of sports shoes, valued at £40, and a chain worth £30.
The attacker is described as white, 18-years-old, 5ft 5ins tall with blond hair which was short at the sides and long on top.
He had a slight moustache, light blue eyes and a spotty complexion, with slash marks on his left arm and a scar on his right wrist.
He was wearing a grey T-shirt with a blue stripe, blue Nike tracksuit bottoms and white Reebok trainers.
