FIREWORKS brought terror to the streets for the second time in two days.
Just days after a four-month-old baby narrowly missed being showered by shards of glass after an explosion blew out a bedroom window in Memorial Road, thugs have struck again.
Just a couple of hundred yards from Sunday night's attack, a Ford Fiesta in Park Road, Walkden, had a hole blown in its side.
Police chiefs confirmed they were probing possibilities that the latest attack was the work of the same gang, who are using the powerful fireworks to cause loud explosions.
On Thursday night another blast rocked a Prestwich estate.
And firefighters and police were baffled last night when they were called to deal with mystery explosions in Atherton.
Worried residents on Leigh Road, Howe Bridge, heard loud bangs at 10pm and midnight.
