BOLTON artist Nichola Holt was last night nominated for the chop by fellow housemates in Channel 4's Big Brother, as revealed exclusively on this web site at 5pm.
Viewers must now wait until Friday to discover whether Nichola, a 29-year-old textile artist from Turton Road, Bradshaw, or Liverpool builder Craig, are forced to leave the fly-on-the-wall documentary.
The two were selected by the remaining contestants to be evicted from the show which monitors the activities of a group of young people confined in a house.
The person who survives longest picks up £70,000.
In nominating Nichola, Craig called her argumentative and aggressive and another contestant, Mel, said she had an uncontrollable temper.
Nichola, heartbroken when close pal Caroline O'Shea, aged 37, was dumped last Friday, said: "I knew it was going to be me. I have been screaming abuse at people and you can't expect to stay if you are doing that.
"But I am quite pleased -- five weeks is enough."
"Nasty Nick" Bateman is now the only Big Brother contestant never to have been nominated for eviction by any of the housemates.
Nichola, who had been second favourite to be the next person booted out of the house, has now got the odds further stacked against her.
Bookmakers have placed her at only 33 to 1 to win the show.
She celebrated her 29th birthday with fellow contestants over the weekend.
Speaking on the Big Brother website she said: "I'm gonna' expect it," in anticipation of the forthcoming nomination results.
Nichola believes she is currently going through the same emotions Mel suffered when Andy was evicted. And, she claims she will be nominated as a result of her breakdown over the weekend.
"I'm ready to go, but I wanna win the £70,000," Nichola told Anna. "I didn't come here just for the money, but it could do me a massive favour. I'll be more upset because I'm leaving you lot behind."
Nichola also argues that the group has managed to find a system to work through any problems but that people are nominated for eviction for petty reasons.
And just in case she is up for eviction Nichola intends to decorate the exit door with a shooting star design.
Which contestant will actually be catapulted into the star-studded stratosphere on Friday isn't yet clear but if it does happen to Nichola she'll be ready for it.
Fans will decide in a phone poll who becomes the fourth person of the 10 contestants to be evicted from the house.
